Debbie Beukema

Debbie Beukema is an American artist living and working in the historical city of Zwolle, the Netherlands.

Debbie was born in 1970 in Los Angeles, California and lived in the Miracle Mile district until she was 18. She was recognized early in her youth with having exceptional artistic talent, receiving 3 years of quarterly scholarships to Pasadena Art Center youth program, the Bank of America award for achievement in art as a senior in high school, and a full four year university scholarship to study painting at the College of Creative Studies at the University of California Santa Barbara.

She is currently a member of Palet, an artists group in Zwolle.
